Description
Monument Rocks, also called the Chalk Pyramids are a series of large chalk formations in Gove County, Kansas. Although it is dry now, these “badlands” used to be part of a shallow ocean about 80 million years ago during the Cretaceous period. Somewhat more recently, these stunning carbonate deposits, which reach heights of up to 70ft, were the first officially recognized National Natural Landmark in Kansas chosen by the US Department of the Interior. While the area boasts a surprisingly diverse ecosystem, the real treasure is found in the rich fossil deposits that dot the landscape. Whether you enjoy geology or stunning landscapes, these rock formations are sure to please.
I created 3 versions of the poster so that I could capture the beauty of this breathtaking natural formation. The wonderful mix of colors go well with pretty much any room and it looks great hung on the wall and framed. It is guaranteed to be a conversation piece the next time you entertain company.
This vintage travel poster is a digital print that has been created using a combination of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. There are 3 variants and 2 different sizes available. All versions are printed on heavy weight coated matte poster paper. This is to ensure an authentic “vintage” look.
I will print and ship to you after the order is placed. In the actual version, there will be no watermark. Does not include frame.

I purchased the 8×10 night version of this print and have to say that it looks great in a frame on my wall. The attention to detail really elevates the overall design. Print quality is excellent as well. Looking forward to seeing more!
