Description

The Great Plains Nature Center is a cooperative project between the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks & Tourism and the City of Wichita. It is located on the east side of Wichita, near Chisholm Creek Park. The land itself contains most of the various types of natural habitats that exist in the Great Plains. That also includes a very diverse range of native plants and animals. Inside the Center itself, you can find a wonderful exhibit about the biodiversity that exists in Kansas. Whether you simply want to go for a walk in a new setting, or you want to experience the natural wonders of the Great Plains, this little gem is worth visiting.

The stunning and vibrant colors of this piece go well with pretty much any room and it looks great hung on the wall and framed. It is guaranteed to be a conversation piece the next time you entertain company.
