Mueller State Park is a park located near Divide, Colorado, about 45 minutes away from Colorado Springs. There are over 55 miles of trails accessible by hiking, horseback or mountain bike. There are also several locations for camping. The park is home to abundant wildlife including elk, black bears, hawks, eagles, deer, beavers and bighorn sheep, which makes this state park a delightful location for anyone hoping to catch a glimpse of wild animals. There is also a diverse range of landscape from spring-fed meadows, to lakes, massive rock formations and forests.
I visited this park with my wife and son and we had an amazing time. The scenery, wildlife and fresh air were incredible. Even better, the hiking trails weren’t very crowded. So if you’re looking to experience the Rocky Mountains and get away from civilization, this is the perfect park to do it.
The wonderful mix of colors go well with pretty much any room and it looks great hung on the wall and framed. It is guaranteed to be a conversation piece the next time you entertain company.
