Description
The Cap-des-Rosiers Lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse in Canada, standing 112ft tall. It is situated on the southern short of the Saint Lawrence River at the top of a steep cliff. Originally built in 1858 near the village of Cap-des-Rosiers in Gaspe, Quebec, this lighthouse still serves the original purpose of safely guiding ships. During the summer months, it is a popular tourist destination.
Although I’ve never visited this lighthouse in person, I wanted to turn this Federal Heritage Building into a travel poster because it looks so iconic. I did my best to capture the rocky cliffs and the stunning presence of the lighthouse.
The wonderful mix of colors go well with pretty much any room and it looks great hung on the wall and framed. It is guaranteed to be a conversation piece the next time you entertain company.
This vintage travel poster is a digital print that has been created using a combination of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. There are 2 variants and 2 different sizes available. All versions are printed on heavy weight coated matte poster paper. This is to ensure an authentic “vintage” look.
I will print and ship to you after the order is placed. In the actual version, there will be no watermark. Does not include frame.
